CVAN had a booth at the Police and Safety Fair on October 18, 2003 at the Del Amo Mall. We wish to thank Dean Martin, Janet Kishiyama and Ted Newsome for their hard work at the Safety Fair. CVAN signed up 7 new members because of the volunteer’s great effort. We displayed our “This week in Torrance” show of our 1st Disaster Drill during the entire fair. We handed out brochures, pamphlets and other reading material, not to mention Halloween candy. The Safety Fair attracted hundreds of people, which kept all of the booths hopping. This fair was well planned and we hope to attend the Police and Safety Fair next year.
