Over the years she has volunteered for a wide variety oforganizations including the scouts, Red Cross, church groups, and PTA. When the America Reads program came to RSVP of South Bay, Ms. Dzeguze was there to offer help with growing and supporting the number ofvolunteers in her school.
She made calls and was a tremendous support to the mission of this program.
Her current endeavor with RSVP and the America Reads program has been the most satisfying. "Seeing children gain the confidence and the knowledge needed to read independently is extremely rewarding. There is nothing better than having a small child hug you and say, "Thank you for reading with me"".
Debra also states, "As with all my volunteering experiences I am receiving more from it than I feel I'm giving. It is truly a pleasure".
