The
RSVP of South Bay welcomes you as a volunteer member and hopes your
association with RSVP of South Bay will be a mutually satisfying
experience. This handbook has been designed to acquaint you with RSVP
and to serve as a guide to the operation and procedures of our
volunteer program.
This
information will help explain the background and purpose of our
program; answer some frequently asked questions, and describes what you
might encounter as a volunteer.
We
hope you will benefit from your volunteer experience. We welcome you as
a member of the growing community of individuals whose lives have been
enriched by their efforts to help others.

All
accidents are to be reported immediately. Registered volunteers have an

performing volunteer duties and keeping their hours reported monthly to
the RSVP of South Bay office.
If you fail to report your volunteer

Your

In
a life-threatening emergency tell your support person. Remain calm, and

await their arrival. Be prepared to give the business name, the address

Each
year a gala banquet is given in honor of all our volunteers. This is
our way of saying thank you for a job well done. It is recognized by
elected officials and the community as an impressive event that acts as
a vehicle to let our South Bay Community know what a difference you are
making in the lives of those in need.
In
order for you to qualify for this banquet you MUST keep your volunteer
hours current with our office. That's it!
