For the three year period 2006 - 2009, the Retired and Senior Volunteer
Program of the South Bay has identified four strategic goals that
create a bold, yet realistic vision for promoting a sense of value and
making a more profound difference in the South Bay community. Each of
our goals - Increasing our organizational capacity to provide high
quality programs, engaging baby boomers, creating distinctive services,
and building our public image - requires that our programs and
initiatives work together to achieve common objectives. Our four major
programs are as follows:
CVAN(Community
Volunteer Alert Network) was developed to ensure that frail elderly and
homebound seniors receive support during the first 72 hours.
